Copied in the early 18th century, this setting of the Kyrie and Gloria movements of the mass was originally conceived for 2 tenors, 2 violins and continuo. The copyist added an optional bass (essentially a texted version of the continuo line) and then a third violin part that can substitute for the upper tenor voice and octave higher.
