Cantata for the 1st Sunday after Epiphany from the cycle Fasch wrote for performances during the church year 1735-1736 (FR512). The surviving autograph manuscript reveals how the composer reworked the music when the cycle was reprised over the following decades. Taking full advantage of musicological discoveries made in the intervening period, this edition replaces an earlier King's Music one.
