1. Allegro 2. Adagio Cantabile (2 flutes and continuo) 3. Presto Assai – Adagio (2 flutes and continuo) – Prestissimo – Adagio (2 flutes and continuo) – Largo (Tutti) 4. 2 Passepieds (the first has flutes and violins in unison, the second has the now-independent flutes doubled by violin 1 solo and ripieno respectively and organ)
Edited by Maxwell Sobel.24pp.Scoring: 2 solo flutes, strings and continuo. In truth, the two solo violins are often in unison with the violin 1 part (sometimes also with violin 2!), although there are passages in which the two solo violins double and the two ripieno violins play another part unisoni. In the 2nd passepied, violin 1 solo is accompanied by only violin 1 ripieno and continuo. Perhaps the printer misread the original manuscript and the piece is actually a ripieno concerto?
