This work survives in Graupner's hand but does not bear his name, so is catalogued at the end of the Thematic Catalogue of his music under the heading "uncertain". Despite this, the work clearly bears all the hallmark's of the composer's style, and the fact that several similarly scored ouverture suites survive with his name suggests to us that the work is genuine. After the French ouverture come an Air en Gavotte, an Air Largo (with upper strings muted), then four Menuets, each with a different character.
